About the work:
Inspired by the demon Astaroth, the 29th demon in the 72 demons of Solomon. Yoneyama’s work is immersed in a mysterious and solemn atmosphere that is both fascinating and unsettling. With closed eyes, Astaroth seems to be in deep meditation, exuding an air of wisdom and transcendence. The intricate and elaborate details of his design, including the wings and the bone-like structures around the waist, are both chaotic and orderly, complementing each other perfectly. Yoneyama's work not only catches the eye but also creates a sense of mystique and intrigue.
