About the work: In childhood, the boundary between fantasy and reality was blurred. I used to believe that I could enter another world from the shade of a shrine’s trees, or imagine that at the end of a long slope there would be a strange city. I delighted in the vibrant colors of nature and the world. Before long, I lost faith in the unseen and was tightly bound by reality, just like Peter Pan, who forgot how to fly after growing up. Through this work, I hope to regain the power to fly.
